Purchasing a firearm

Once you have your Connecticut state Pistol Permit, driving down to your local firearms dealer and purchasing a pistol, long gun or ammo is easy. We at Hat City recommend first time gun owners to go to a dealer with an indoor range to first test out some different firearms before making their first purchase. Every pistol is different and feels different in a person’s hand and in their holster. Hat City offers a wide range of both new and pre-owned guns, but if you can’t find what you want in our store we offer FFL transfers for just $30 from online retailers and you can come pick up your firearm the same day it gets delivered to us.
